The 3rd LTT in Gliwice, Poland

Day 1: Opening ceremony; partner school presentations; getting to know each other- speed dating; walking tour of Gliwice with Actionbound.

Day 2; REPURPOSE Workshop: how to turn old t-shirts into bags; visit to the Guido Coal Mine and Coal Mining Museum in Zabrza (the implementation of "repurpose" in the region).

The Romanian team's presentation of The European Parliament Ambassador School Programme (EPAS) followed  by The mandala of values - activity meant to make students aware of personal and European values and also to help them make connections between values and actions.

Day 3: REPURPOSE in Cracow - Artistic Workshop delivered by the NGO Crush on Trash Foundation: creating a mosaic from broken glass, porcelain and other ceramic materials - "repurpose" in the area of decorative art. All the participants had a great time creating their own little reclaimed art pieces; guided tour of the Old Town: we spent the second part of the day walking around the old town with a guide who shared the history of the city with us as well as lots of interesting facts from the streets of Cracow. 

Day 4: Zero waste workshop at the Silesian Botanical Garden in Mikołów- Mokrem. Here the employees of the educational center gave our students a lecture on the 5R steps. Also, they prepared a workshop where students created their own ecological bath balls and a treasure hunt in the beautiful surroundings of autumn nature.

Day 5: Rot and Biodegradation - a lecture on biodegradation processes by Dr. M. Danek; presenting students' work & competition winners' announcement; certificate ceremony
